Silverdale Gun Club is happy to announce our first ever winter trap league for the 2026/2027 season! This will run from December to March.
Cost to enter: $25 buy in
Prizes:
1st place: half the pot
2nd and 3rd: split the rest of the pot
Honourable last place: 1 token and 1 box of target load per person
Bonus prize: Lanz/Silverdale Gift certificate (winning team will be randomly selected)
Note: some of the pot will be used to purchase last place prize as well as a prize that will be given to a team who did not place
Rules:
- Members and their guests are welcome to participate (licensed or unlicensed)
- Each participant must shoot 8 rounds of trap (2 per month) throughout December, January, February and March.
- There is no specific day these rounds have to be completed just at some point throughout the month. Ameris will be available to score on the schedule below. Ameris must sign off on all rounds to compete in the Trap League.
- All 5 people do not have to shoot at the same time to have their score counted, but each person is responsible for showing up and shooting their round, scoring, and having it signed off by Ameris.
- If a participant misses a game, they will not win a prize should their team win. Their score for the game they missed and the rest of the tournament will be the league average individual score.
Guest Participation:
- Guests are welcome to join
- When unlicensed guests are participating there must be a licensed member supervising
- No charge if the sole purpose of the visit is trap league (if continued shooting, guest will have to purchase a day pass under member)
Limited member participation:
- Not required to use a visit if only coming to participate in trap league
- Welcome to shoot a warm up round then two scored rounds and not use a visit
- If you upgrade to an active membership, this will only apply to December
Teams:
- Teams will be composed of 5 individuals
- Members are welcome to create their own teams! Family, friends, fellow Silverdale members.
- If you do not have a full team of 5 people, we will find you a team. No need to worry!
Scoring:
The team with the highest amount of broken clays will win the trap league
Scoring Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays: 9 am to 5 pm
Weekdays: email ameris@silverdalegunclub.com 48 hours in advance
Sign Up:
- Sign ups will run until the end of November
- No cap on participation
- Sign up in office at the range (cash only)
- Email ameris@silverdalegunclub.com (e-transfer)
