GOVERNMENT ID IS REQUIRED FOR EACH AND EVERY PERSON WHO CROSSES THE GATE. THIS INCLUDES CHILDREN. (Drivers License, Passport, Ontario Photo ID Card, Birth Certificate etc.)
Sunglasses or prescription glasses are welcome! If you do not have either, we will provide clear safety glasses.
SUGGESTED ATTIRE
We encourage individuals to dress comfortably for their shooting experience, allowing personal preference to guide their attire choices. However, it is important to prioritize safety. On rare occasions, hot casings may land in undesirable areas. With this in mind, we kindly suggest to consider bringing a light jacket or a garment that provides coverage. Additionally, we recommend a ball-cap for extra protection if needed. Furthermore, closed-toe shoes such as running shoes are mandatory. Open-toed shoes are not permitted.
We are excited to provide non-members with the opportunity to access our range and shoot rifles, shotguns and handguns. Each group will receive dedicated supervision from a range officer for a duration of one and a half hours on the range. The cost for this experience is set at $40 per person. Please keep in mind that appointments must be scheduled in advance. We offer booking options seven days a week, with available time slots at 10 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm.
To ensure a smooth scheduling process, we kindly request that any cancellations or rescheduling requests be made with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to refund your deposit promptly. It’s important to note that failing to show up for your appointment or last-minute cancellation (less than 48 hours) will result in the forfeiture of your deposit or the cancellation of your online order. Any modifications to your appointment, such as changes in the number of attendees or package selection, must also be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines!
At SGC, we understand the desire to capture memorable moments during your shooting experience. However, safety remains our top priority. Therefore, we kindly request that no pictures be taken while firearms are loaded. Rest assured, once the shooting session concludes, our instructors will provide an opportunity for you to take photos with unloaded firearms. If you wish to record videos while shooting, we kindly ask that you consult with the instructor beforehand and inform them of your intentions. This precaution is in place to ensure the safety of our range officers and all guests at SGC.
Children are more than welcome to participate as long as there is parental consent/supervision while the child is shooting. Additionally, we require ID for every child passing the gate such as a passport or birth certificate for insurance purposes. We recommend children 12 years and up but of course that depends on the child specifically in regard to their ability to hold the firearms and shoot safely. If you have any questions, the RSO will be able to help!
